Beef burger meat patties

Equipment
- 1 Mixing Bowl
- 1 Mortar and Pastle
- 1 Pair of Gloves Safe for Food Contact
- 1 Non-Stick Pan
- 1 Flat Metal Spatula
- 1 Roll of Cling Film
- 1 Fork
Ingredients
- 400 grams Ground Beef Meat
- ½ Onion
- 1 Egg
- 1 tsp Paprika
- ½ tsp Salt
- ¼ tsp Black Pepper
- 1 tsp Mustard
- 1 tsp Ketchup
Instructions
- Start by slicing your half onion in small cubes½ Onion
- Place them in a mortar and crush them using a pestle
- In a mixing bowl add your ground beef and crushed onion cubes, followed by the egg, paprika, salt, pepper, mustard and ketchup400 grams Ground Beef Meat, ½ Onion, 1 Egg, 1 tsp Paprika, ½ tsp Salt, ¼ tsp Black Pepper, 1 tsp Mustard, 1 tsp Ketchup
- Using gloves, mix everything very well until well incorporated
- In the end, gently flatten the meat to make the surface even
- Cover with a cling film and place it in the fridge for at least a couple of hours or overnight
- Once rest time is over, take a piece of meat with your hand, roughly a â…“ of the total meat and roll it in a ball, then proceed to gently flatten between your fingers then with your palms and place the piece of meat in the pan
- Repeat for the other three and prick them all over the surface with a fork
- Turn the heat on medium under your pan
- Once cooked from the bottom, flip your meat on the other sideChoose cooking time according to how you want it cooked:raremedium-raremedium-well donewell done
- If well pricked, your meat should not rise in volume
- Place it in your burger and add any condiments and seasoning you want!
