Sweet Syrup
Through our desserts recipes, we will be using this one quite often. Made of four ingredients: water, sugar, citric acid, orange blossom and rose blossom, this ingredient will be the perfect touch to take your desserts to the next level! Here is its simple recipe.
Equipment
- Small Pot
Ingredients
- 100 mL Water
- 200 grams Sugar
- ½ tsp Citric Acid Powder
- 1 tbsp Orange Blossom Water
- 1 tbsp Rose Blossom Water
- Lemon Zest
Instructions
- First, in a pot on medium heat, put the water, lemon zest, citric acid and the sugar then frequently stir until all the sugar is dissolved
- Second, once your water starts boiling, reduce the heat to minimal and keep stirring for about 2 mins until you feel it has thickened
- Then remove the pot from the heat and add the orange and rose blossom and mix well
- Finally pour the content in a bowl and let it cool before covering it with a cling film and putting it in the fridge

Our Cooking Hints:
- It can be kept for 2 months in the fridge
- Also note that it can be used for either decorating or as a main component of a dessert recipe
