Spinach and meat
Spinach and meat is a Lebanese family meal, which is very healthy and easy, as well as rich in iron.
Equipment
- A pan
- A pot
Ingredients
- 900 g Spinach frozen
- 200 g Meat minced
- 1 Onion sliced
- 1 tbsp Butter
- 1 ¼ tsp Salt
- ¼ tsp Pepper
- 1 tbsp Pine
- 1 Lemon
Instructions
- In a large pot, boil water with 1 tbsp of salt
- When the water starts boiling, add the spinach leaves and cook them for about 8-10 mins
- Meanwhile, in a pan, add butter and cook the sliced onion for about 2-3 mins
- Once the onion is cooked, add the minced meat, salt and pepper, and cook them for about 5 mins
- Add the pine to you mixture and cook everything for about 1 min
- Once the spinach leaves are cooked, remove them from water
- Add them to your mixture in the pan, mix everything together on low heat for about 2 mins, then add the lemon juice
