Spinach and meat

Spinach and meat is a Lebanese family meal, which is very healthy and easy, as well as rich in iron.

Ingredients
  

  • 900 g Spinach frozen
  • 200 g Meat minced
  • 1 Onion sliced
  • 1 tbsp Butter
  • 1 ¼ tsp Salt
  • ¼ tsp Pepper
  • 1 tbsp Pine
  • 1 Lemon

Method
 

  1. In a large pot, boil water with 1 tbsp of salt
  2. When the water starts boiling, add the spinach leaves and cook them for about 8-10 mins
  3. Meanwhile, in a pan, add butter and cook the sliced onion for about 2-3 mins
  4. Once the onion is cooked, add the minced meat, salt and pepper, and cook them for about 5 mins
  5. Add the pine to you mixture and cook everything for about 1 min
  6. Once the spinach leaves are cooked, remove them from water
  7. Add them to your mixture in the pan, mix everything together on low heat for about 2 mins, then add the lemon juice
