Ashta Pie

It's one of our specialty recipes, it's a special occasion dessert. This dessert is a fusion of oriental and occidental cuisine. Believe me once you try it, you'll simply fall in love with it!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Pie Crust (Click to check our recipe to make your own)
  • 2 cups Milk powder
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 2 cups Water
  • 1 bag Mastic
  • 1 tbsp Orange blossom water
  • 1 tbsp Rose water
  • 10 Strawberries
  • 8 tsp Honey
  • 4 tbsp Pistachio hashed

Instructions
 

  • In a pot, add the milk powder, the flour and the crushed mastic then mix everything very well
  • Add the water, and stir your mixture, on medium heat, until it starts to boil and until it thickens
  • Add the orange blossom water and the rose water, stir for about 1 min and turn of the heat
  • Add the newly obtained Ashta to the pie crust
  • When the Ashta pie cools down to room temperature, put it in the fridge for about at least 2 hours
  • Before serving your Ashta pie decorate it with strawberries, pistachios and honey
