It’ s a basic sauce of French cuisine, used in many different dishes such as lasagna and gratin. Here is our recipe for this famous Béchamel sauce!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 tbsp Butter
  • 125 grams Milk Powder Full Fat
  • 100 grams Flour T55
  • 1250 mL Water
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • ¼ tsp Sweet Pepper
  • ¼ tsp Ground Nutmeg

Instructions
 

  • First, in a pot on medium heat melt the butter, add the milk powder and the flour, mix them
  • Second, pour the water into the pot, stir the mixture
  • Then, add the salt, the pepper and the nutmeg
  • Finally stir the mixture well and keep stirring until it becomes thick

Our Cooking Hints:

  • For a lighter version, you can make it without butter
