Who doesn’t love wraps? They can be made with a large variety of condiments. In this recipe, we teach you how to do chicken aioli wraps from scratch

Ingredients
  

Wraps
  • 4 Tortillas Bread (Check the recipe here)
  • 300 grams Chicken Breast Cut in strips
  • 4 leaves Green Lettuce
  • 2 Medium Tomatoes Chopped
  • 2 tbsp White Plain Yogurt
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Black Pepper
  • 2 tbsp Lemon Juice
Aioli Sauce
  • 2 tbsp Mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp Lemon Juice
  • 1 Garlic Clove Crushed
  • 3 drops Whiskey (or Beer)

Equipment

Method
 

Aioli sauce
  1. Start by adding the mayonnaise and the garlic together and whisk well
    2 tbsp Mayonnaise, 1 Garlic Clove
  2. Progressively add the lemon juice until you obtain the texture that you want
    2 tbsp Lemon Juice
  3. The sauce should not be too much liquid
  4. Add the drops of whiskey and whisk everything well
    3 drops Whiskey (or Beer)
  5. Cover the sauce and put it in the fridge
Wraps
  1. Place your chicken strips in a mixing bowl and add the white plain yogurt
    300 grams Chicken Breast, 2 tbsp White Plain Yogurt
  2. Followed by the cinnamon, paprika, garlic powder, salt and pepper
    1 tsp Cinnamon, 1 tsp Paprika, 1 tsp Garlic Powder, 1 tsp Salt, 1 tsp Black Pepper
  3. Finally add the lemon juice and using a safe to food contact glove, mix everything very well together
    2 tbsp Lemon Juice
  4. Cover with a cling film and place in the fridge for two hours
  5. Once the two hours are passed, place your chicken pieces in a non stick pan on medium heat
  6. Cook for about 10-12 mins
  7. Next cut your lettuce leaves in small, long slices
  8. Now take the aioli sauce out of the fridge
  9. On a tortilla bread, spread 1 tbsp of aioli sauce, add to the it some lettuce leaves and tomatoes, and ¼ of the chicken
    4 Tortillas Bread (Check the recipe here), 4 leaves Green Lettuce, 2 Medium Tomatoes
  10. Wrap the tortilla bread and cut it in half with a diagonal cut
  11. Do the same for the 3 other tortillas and you’re done!

Notes

Our Cooking Hints:

  • You can put the tortilla bread in a pan on low heat and add some shredded mozzarella cheese before adding the other ingredients
  • Chicken aioli wraps are best served along with nacho chips
  • You can also add pickles for an even more enjoyable taste
  • To turn them in BLT wraps, you can simply add bacon stripes or crushed bacon chips
