Chicken Skewers

Chicken Skewers is a simple, quick and very tasty family recipe. They are rich in proteins, very healthy and ideal in the oven or for a BBQ!

Equipment

  • A bowl
  • An oven plate

Ingredients
  

  • 500 grams Chicken Breast
  • ¼ cup Yogurt
  • 1 tbsp Vegetable oil
  • ½ tsp Pepper
  • ½ tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • 1 tsp Mustard
  • 1 Clove Garlic mashed
  • ½ Lemon juice
  • 1 Onion cut into cubes
  • 1 Green Sweet Pepper cut into cubes

Instructions
 

  • Cut the chicken breast into cubes
  • In a bowl, add your chicken cubes, yogurt, salt, pepper , paprika, vegetable oil, garlic and lemon juice then mix everything very well
  • Keep your mixture to rest in the fridge for about 2 hours minimum
  • Two hours later, skewer the chicken cubes with some onion cubes and green sweet pepper cubes
  • Cook your skewers chicken at 180 degrees Celsius (356 degrees Fahrenheit) in the oven for about 10 mins each side

Our Cooking Hints

  • If you are a fan of hot food you can add some red hot pepper to your mixture
  • Serve the chicken skewers with garlic paste, some fries and Lebanese bread
