Chocolate fondant

Ingredients
  

  • 200 grams Dark Chocolate
  • 100 grams Butter
  • 100 grams Sugar
  • 100 grams Flour
  • 5 grams Baking Powder
  • 1 Egg
  • 4 pieces Dark Chocolate

Equipment

  • Medium mixing bowl
  • Whisk
  • 4 Small Round Molds

Method
 

  1. Start by preheating your oven at 180 degrees Celsius (356 degrees Fahrenheit)
  2. Start by melting the butter and chocolate together either in a microwave or a bain-marie
  3. Whisk the egg and sugar together until they blend well
  4. Add the baking powder and flour and whisk well
  5. Progressively add the chocolate/butter mixture while whisking, making sure that everything blends perfectly
  6. Fill until ⅓ in each mold the mixture, followed by a piece of chocolate
  7. Then complete until ⅔ with the mixture
  8. Place the mold in the oven for about 15 minutes
  9. Remove, turn them over on a plate and enjoy!

Notes

Our Cooking Hints:

  • Sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve with vanilla ice cream
  • You can replace the pieces of dark chocolate with white, milk or even Kinder!
