Happy Halloween! We present to you for this holiday, some yummy Halloween muffins that are decorated for the occasion. Sweet and tasty, your kids are definitely going to enjoy them this season!

Equipment

  • 2 Mixing Bowls
  • 1 Strainer
  • 1 Whisk
  • 8 Small Muffin Cups Halloween Themed

Ingredients
  

  • 200 grams Flour T45
  • 60 grams Butter Melted and at room temperature
  • 100 grams Sugar
  • 100 grams Chocolate Chips
  • 1 tbsp Vanilla Extract
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 Cup Milk
  • 1 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1 Pinch Salt
  • 1 Pinch Sodium Bicarbonate

Instructions
 

  • Place the strainer over the first mixing bowl and pour the flour, salt, sodium bicarbonate, baking powder and mix well
    200 grams Flour, 1 tsp Baking Powder, 1 Pinch Salt, 1 Pinch Sodium Bicarbonate
  • Using your strainer to get the texture smooth
  • Add the chocolate chips and mix well
    100 grams Chocolate Chips
  • In the second mixing bowl, add the egg and sugar and whisk very well
    1 Egg, 100 grams Sugar
  • Add the melted butter and whisk well
    60 grams Butter
  • Finally add the milk and vanilla extract and whisk well
    1 Cup Milk, 1 tbsp Vanilla Extract
  • Once the wet mixture is homogenous, start adding your dry mixture 3-4 tbsp at a time, while mixing very well in between
  • When your texture becomes homogenous and sticky, fill each of the halloween muffin cups to a maximum of ⅔ and place them on your baking tray
  • Preheat your oven at 175 degrees Celsius (347 degrees Fahrenheit)
  • Place your baking tray in the middle with convection on for 20 mins
  • Cool the muffins by placing them on your cooling grid and start decorating them with any halloween theme objects once they are at room temperature!

Our Cooking Hints

  • You can use frosting the cover them and even do drawings such as spider webs, bats and skeletons!
  • You can replace the chocolate chips with dried fruits, nuts or a mixture of both!
  • These can be preserved for up to 3 days in good conditions
