Cut the onion is small pieces
Afterwards, put the oil in a big pot on medium heat and pour in the previously cut onion
Then, once the onions start melting, add in the sliced taro and frequently stir for about 5 minutes
Now add the lentils, and frequently stir for about 2 mins
Then add 1.5 liters of water to the pot as well as the salt and wait for it to start boiling
Now once the water starts boiling, reduce the heat to minimal, cover the pot with a lid and leave it for 40 mins until the lentils and taro are well cooked
After 40 minutes, add the lemon juice, stir while still at minimal heat and wait for 5 minutes with the lid on
Turn off the heat and you’re done!
