Ingredients
  

  • 125 grams Flour T45
  • 100 grams Dark Chocolate
  • 100 grams Milk Chocolate
  • 200 grams Sugar
  • 125 grams Butter
  • 8 grams Baking Powder
  • 5 Eggs
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 1 tbsp Vanilla Extract

Method
 

  1. First, start by preheating your oven at 150℃ (302℉)
  2. Second, melt the chocolate and butter together either in a bain-marie or in the microwave and put aside
    100 grams Dark Chocolate, 125 grams Butter, 100 grams Milk Chocolate
  3. Third for each egg, separate the yolk from the white (Put each in a bowl)
    5 Eggs
  4. Fourth, beat the egg yolks with the sugar
    200 grams Sugar
  5. Then, add the melted chocolate/butter and the vanilla extract and mix well
    1 tbsp Vanilla Extract
  6. Now add the flour and keep mixing
    125 grams Flour
  7. Add the baking powder, give it a mix then add the salt and mix again
    8 grams Baking Powder, 1 pinch Salt
  8. Now beat the egg whites until you obtain a whip cream like texture
  9. Add the beaten egg whites to your main bowl and mix them very gently using a spatula, to avoid the egg whites from decomposing
  10. Now add some butter to a cake mold and pour in the complete mixture (any shape will work)
  11. Then, put it in the oven with convection on for about 35-40 minutes
  12. Afterwards, remove from the oven and place on a cooling grid
  13. Finally, after 20 minutes you can unmold the cake using a plate
  14. Enjoy your beautiful work!

Our Cooking Hints:

  • To make sure you cake is well baked, use a knife and stick it all the way in the middle. If it comes out dry then your cake is baked
  • You can sprinkle your cake with crushed pistachios or powdered sugar
