Spaghetti Bolognese

According to the name “Spaghetti Bolognese” people thought that it is an Italian recipe invented in Bologna but it’s not true. Anyway this delicious plate comes very popular at Italy and all over the world.

Equipment

  • Large Pot
  • Pan
  • Strainer
  • Wooden Spoon

Ingredients
  

  • 250 grams Meat Minced
  • 1 small Onion Chopped
  • 2 medium Tomatoes Chopped
  • 1 tsp Butter
  • ¼ tsp Salt
  • ¼ tsp Pepper
  • ½ tsp Thyme
  • 300 grams Spaghetti Number 5
  • 400 grams Tomato Juice

Instructions
 

  • Cook the spaghetti, for 8-10 mins, in a boiling salted water
  • Meanwhile, in a pan, on medium heat, add the butter then when it’s melt add the onion
  • When the onion starts softening, add the meat and cook everything for about 5-7 mins
  • When the meat is cooked add the tomatoes, the salt, the pepper the thym and mix them for about 2 mins
  • After you can add the tomato juice, wait until it starts boiling
  • Once the spaghetti is cooked, mix it with the Bolognese sauce

Notes

Our Cooking Hints:

  • If you are a fan of spicy food you can add to your sauce 1/4 tsp or more of hot red pepper
  • If you are not a fan of meat you can cook your spaghetti without meat
  • For a more enjoyable experience add some parmesan cheese to your plate
